11 января по старому стилю в греческом месяцеслове совершается память преподобных Феодора Константинопольского и Агапия Апамейского, архимандрита. О преподобном Феодоре известно лишь то, что он почитался в Константинополе; время его подвига не установлено. Преподобный Агапий, архимандрит и отшельник, подвизался в Апамее Сирийской на рубеже III-IV веков и преставился в 306 году.
Brief life of the Venerable Theodore and Agapius the Archimandrite
On January 11 according to the Old Calendar, the Greek menologion commemorates the Venerable Theodore of Constantinople and Agapius of Apamea, an archimandrite. Of Saint Theodore it is known only that he was venerated in Constantinople; the time of his ascetic struggle is not established. Saint Agapius, an archimandrite and hermit, labored in asceticism at Apamea in Syria at the turn of the third and fourth centuries and reposed in the year 306.
